There's a TV wedding in the works!
Tina Fey's Liz Lemon will be marrying James Marsden's Chris Chross in the Nov. 29 episode of 30 Rock, NBC announced Nov. 15. According to the fictional couple's save-the-date, Liz will be presenting herself to marry the entrepreneur, "but not in a creepy way that perpetuates the idea that brides are virgins and women are property."
The save the date also advises viewers to "bring your own snacks." (Marsden joined the show as a guest star during season 6 in 2011.)
Fey's character, a 42-year-old unlucky-in-love TV producer, previously dated commercial pilot Carol Burnett (Matt Damon), juvenile businessman Dennis Duffy (Dean Winters) and hapless-but-hunky Dr. Drew Baird (Jon Hamm).
30 Rock, which also stars Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski, Tracy Morgan and Jack McBrayer, airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. The series -- based loosely on Fey's own experiences as the head writer of Saturday Night Live -- will end after seven seasons in early 2013.
