The new "Dancing with the Stars" champion was in tears after winning season 11 on Tuesday night. Who captured the mirror-ball trophy? The full, spoiler-filled recap is straight ahead!

'Dirty Dancing' star Jennifer Grey triumphed over Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin to win the competition once viewer votes were combined with two nights' worth of judges' scores.

"I didn't think I was gonna compete tonight, and I'm really glad I did," said a tearful but elated Jennifer, who overcame a number of health issues to claim victory. Meanwhile, her pro partner Derek Hough earned his third mirror-ball trophy.

Runner-up Kyle thanked his fans and pro-partner Lacey Schwimmer before congratulating the new champs. And third-place finalist Bristol, whose success some attributed to a voting conspiracy, said, "I have so many good memories from this competition. This has definitely been just such a life-changing experience and I've had the time of my life."

The judges' leaderboard, which accounted for 50 percent of the final outcome, tellingly found Jennifer and Derek finishing tops with 118 points, Kyle and Lacey in second with 110 points, and Bristol and Mark Ballas in third with 104 points.

Earlier in the evening, the final three duos strived to build on their judges' scores from Monday night with two more rounds of competition. In the first round, Kyle and Lacey earned a 26 for their tango, Bristol and Mark notched a 25 for their own tango, and Jennifer and Derek captured a perfect 30 for their Viennese Waltz.

Next, the couples' spontaneity was tested with the Instant Cha Cha Challenge. They each had less than an hour to choreograph a Cha Cha to P!nk's "Raise Your Glass." The judges had rave reviews for all three duos but awarded Kyle and Lacey a 28, Jennifer and Derek a 28, and Bristol and Mark a 27.

Also on the finale, the ousted season 11 contestants returned to perform -- all except for Audrina Patridge and Michael Bolton. Highlights included a shirtless "Situation" tip-toeing around to the "vintage" Right Said Fred tune "I'm Too Sexy," and David Hasselhoff grooving with swimsuit-clad dancers in front of a "Baywatch"-esque sunset-and-palm-tree backdrop. Plus, Christina Aguilera performed "Beautiful" and a song from her new movie 'Burlesque.'
