"The Bachelorette" Ali Fedotowsky had a lot on her mind as she took the five remaining bachelors -- Chris L., Frank, Kirk, Roberto and Ty -- on dates around Lisbon, Portugal. After an "amazing" week, Ali picked the four suitors that will take her back to their hometowns to meet their families and friends.
Chris L. got the first rose of the night, following a date where he opened up to Ali about his family and presented her with a gift. Chris explained that he moved home to take care of his ailing mother before she passed away. He presented the bachelorette with a "Dennis" bracelet, a gift he said was from his dad, revealing to Ali that he was waiting to give her the bracelet until he was sure they had a connection. Ali was excited about the present and suggested that the two of them bring back some wine from Portugal for Chris' father. The date ended with a kiss.
Ali's two-on-one date with Frank and Ty did not go as well with the bachelorette feeling uncomfortable being at dinner with two suitors. "I don't know how I'm going to get through this night," Ali says of the date. She loosens up after getting the two men alone and talking to them about their families.
Frank had a big secret to tell Ali, disclosing that he still lives at home with his parents. Ali doesn't seem phased by the news as she continued to cuddle and kiss him. Frank said of Ali possibly meeting his parents, "When I like somebody, they're going to like somebody."
Ali also had a one-on-one date with Kirk, but had a lot on her mind during the course of the day. "I don't know if I'm at the point I should be," she said. Kirk tries to comfort the bachelorette, telling her that he's not falling for the idea or concept of love but rather falling for her. "I'm deserving of happiness," Kirk told Ali.
After a whimsical time in Portugal, Ali sent one man home. "I knew it was going to be hard. I just didn't know it was going to be this hard," she said before making her choice. In the end, Ali chose not to give a rose to Ty. She said of her decision, "I know I'm getting to the right guy so it's necessary, but it's not easy."
