The Olympics may be over, but the Fierce Five gymnasts are still hard at work -- and dealing with the risks that come with high-level competition.
The Associated Press reports that both Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney were injured during a California stop on Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions Saturday.
Both gold medal winners fell during their uneven bar routines; Maroney, 16, injured her left knee, while Raisman, 18, reportedly fell on her stomach and bruised both of her knees.
Maroney was scheduled to undergo further evaluations on Monday. Raisman is doing fine and is expected to be able to perform during the Kellogg Tour's next stop in San Diego Thursday.
On Monday afternoon, Maroney hinted to her nearly 500,000 Twitter followers she's doing her best look on the bright side, despite her hurt knee.
Sharing a photo of scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries and a blueberry muffin, the athlete wrote, "Not bad for hospital food . . . :)"
