"Awkward" actress Nikki DeLoach is a mom now! The 34-year-old, who has a role on the hit MTV series, welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with her husband, Ryan Goodell, on Oct. 22, her rep confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.
The MTV star and entertainment lawyer, married since September 2009, named their son William Hudson Goodell, but he will go by the name Hudson. He was born at 3:19 a.m. in Los Angeles and weight in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces and is 21 inches long.
"Mom and baby are doing well," the rep said in a statement to Us, "and the new parents are overjoyed at the arrival of their first child.
Coincidentally, little William made his entrance into the world the same day as the third mid-season premiere of his mom's series, "Awkward." On the show, DeLoach plays Lacey Hamilton, the young mother of Ashley Rickards' Jennna Hamilton. In a recent interview with MTV, the pregnant star explained, "Moving forward, having a kid is only going to enhance all of my acting in all types of ways because I'll be feeling things I've never felt before."
DeLoach also shared what she was looking forward to about becoming a mother. "I know that this is going to change my life, and change my heart forever -- it already has," she said. "Your love grows bigger and bigger, and I didn't even realize I had the capacity to love something so much. I can only imagine how much bigger that's going to get when I see his little face."
