If there were ever any doubts that Blue Ivy was born to be a star, her appearance at her mom's concert on Saturday, May 4, surely squashed them. During a show at London's O2 arena, Beyonce, 31, gave new meaning to the term "stage mother" when she brought her 15-month-old tot onstage at the end of her performance of "Irreplaceable."
Video of the sweet mother-daughter moment shows the "Love on Top" singer -- clad in a blue-sequined catsuit -- reaching out to grab her little girl's hand amid a crowd of more than 20,000 fans. Blue, who wore headphones to protect her ears from all the noise, looks adorable in a full-skirted white dress.
Two days later, on Monday, May 6, Jay-Z's wife opened up to Good Morning America about wanting to give her toddler a younger sibling. "I would like more children," she said. "I think my daughter needs company. I definitely love being a big sister [to Solange]."
For the moment, though, she's giving all her attention to Blue. "My biggest job in the world is to protect my daughter, and I am very protective," she explained. "I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love and now have a way bigger meaning, and that's to be her mother."
"You know, at the end of the day, you're the same exact person...I still like the simple things," she continued, joking that she was rocking some store-bought press-on nails. "I just want happiness, and I want great friends and great family."
