Brooke Burke-Charvet just gave fans an update on her health post-surgery to correct a cancerous thyroid tumor, and shares the good news that the thyroid cancer has been removed from her body.
"I just got the results back from all of my tests and great news -- the thyroid cancer has been removed from my body and all my lymph nodes are clear. So I'm hoping that this is the end of the story. Woohoo!!! And thank GOD!," she writes on her blog on ModernMom.com.

Brooke, 41, revealed in a video on her blog in November that she'd been diagnosed with a cancerous growth on her thyroid gland, and would need surgery to remove it. But now, a week post-surgery, she shares she's feeling "pretty good."
"It's Day 7 post-surgery and I'm feeling pretty good. I'm quite sore but I have to say, every single day seems to be getting better," she says.
Though the Dancing with the Stars host is still taking the rest of the year off to recover.
"In a weird way, it's kind of the perfect ending to a very busy year. I've taken the rest of the year off to recover and catch up with my family and now we're just celebrating life," she says. "It's so out of the ordinary for me -- to not be working or rushing from place to place driving the kids around. But I have to admit I could kinda get used to this. I'm starting to feel like a housewife, minus the household chores ... not a bad gig."

Though all joking aside, Brooke writes that her cancer scare has changed her life.
"I've never been one to take life for granted and it sounds so cliché to say it, but this whole thyroid experience has given my family such a scare that it seems to have brought us all closer. And it's allowing us to ring in the New Year with a newfound respect for life," she writes.
