Celine Dion's heart goes out to Kate Winslet, who admitted to doing a "massive eye roll" whenever she hears the Titanic theme song, "My Heart Will Go On."
"'My Heart Will Go On' gave me the opportunity to be associated with a classic that will live forever. If I just count how many times I've sung it, maybe it'll get me sick," the Canadian songstress, 44, said on the Today show on Monday, empathizing with the Titanic actress. "If she feels tired just hearing it, and, like, throwing up, I'm glad she was not the one singing it."
Back in March, Winslet, 36, confessed to MTV News that still, 15 years after the blockbuster film and soundtrack were released, the ballad "haunts" her.
"I wish I could say, 'Oh listen, everybody! It's the Celine Dion song!' But I don't," Winslet said. "I just have to sit there, you know, kind of straight-faced with a massive internal eye roll," adding that the chart-topping song makes her "feel like throwing up."
