With a wedding in the works, Jennifer Aniston has some tough decisions to make -- starting with selecting who will be in her bridal party.
Despite her close friendship with the Bounty Hunter actress, Chelsea Handler, 37, recently told Extra she won't likely be involved in Aniston's big day. "I'm not going to be maid of honor," the Chelsea Lately host said. "She has other friends that she is much closer to." (Aniston's BFFs include Courteney Cox, 48, and Laura Dern, 45, who dined with Aniston's beau Justin Theroux, 41, shortly before he proposed in New York City.)
"We are good friends, but no, she's not going to ask me," the Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang author added. "That would be really weird."
In fact, before Aniston's October 15 appearance on Chelsea Lately -- where she tearfully opened up about her August 10 engagement for the very first time -- the two women hadn't seen each other "in a couple months," according to Handler. (Aniston had been filming We're the Millers in North Carolina and New Mexico.)
Earlier this summer, a source told Us Weekly Aniston and Theroux would love a "destination wedding, kind of like eloping with a few friends. There will be the feeling of a vacation, since that's their favorite thing to do."
Aniston and Theroux's big day will be a far cry from the actress' July 2000 nuptials to Brad Pitt, now 48. The actors tied the knot during a sunset ceremony in Malibu, in front of A-list attendees like Cox, Cameron Diaz, 40, and Salma Hayek, 46. (Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005; the World War Z actor is currently engaged to Angelina Jolie, 37, the mother of his six children and his costar in 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith.)
When she and Pitt wed, Aniston wore a glass-beaded silk and satin Lawrence Steele gown, ivory suede Manolo Blahnik heels and a Swarovski crystal crown. Her bridesmaids, Andrea Bendewald and Kristin Hahn-Stringer, donned pale green Lawrence Steele slip dresses. The couple's reception featured a six-tier cake, a 13-minute fireworks display and a performance by mutual pal Melissa Etheridge, 51.
