Chord Overstreet may have sang his last song on the hit FOX show "Glee" as his series regular option has not been picked up the show, ET has confirmed.
On Friday, July 1, Overstreet sent out a tweet that that hinted at his not returning to the popular FOX show. "It's been a good year. Too bad it's over. Time for summer and starting fresh," Overstreet said through his Twitter account.
According to a source close to "Glee," Overstreet may not be off the show completely, as he may show up as an occasional guest star.
In other cast news, Darren Criss, who plays Blaine, and Harry Shum Jr., who plays Mike will officially become full-time regular characters on "Glee" with the start of the third season.
