Well, this is scary! A member of Chris Brown's crew has his sights (and his sight) set on R&B singer Marques Houston for enthusiastically commenting on a social media photo of Chris' ex.

After Karreuche Tran posted a photo of herself sunbathing to her Instagram page on Aug. 27, Marques paid her a compliment, waxing poetic about her backside. But, despite the fact that Chris and Karreuche broke up in March after it was revealed that the "Loyal" rapper fathered a child, a buddy of his decided to make it clear to Marques, in the veiled form of a death threat, that he better not speak about Karreuche that way.

The friend, who TMZ said is a "known gang member," posted a photo of two semi-automatic weapons and insinuated that Marques is being disrespectful. "I don't care if they still not together," the gang member warned.

Karreuche, though, isn't so convinced that her ex isn't actually the one behind the threats, telling TMZ, "I thought we have all matured and moved on ... especially since Chris has been seen with multiple women since the breakup."

She continues, "I don't want anything to do with any type of violence or negativity."

Since he and Karreuche split, Chris has still kept his ex within earshot, at least on social media. In May, Tyson Beckford posted a pic of himself with Karrueche. Chris responded by tweeting, "U wanna keep walking them runways. I need ta legs for that."

Tyson responded, "@officialchrisbrown it's all about fun in vegas. Come thru papa." He then posted a video of himself at the gun range. Chris later apologized.
