Actor Cody Longo has urged fans not to worry about him following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI), insisting "everything is fine."

The "Hollywood Heights" star, who plays Eddie Duran in the hit Nickelodeon TV series, was pulled over by cops in the early hours of Thursday after he was allegedly spotted driving aggressively through Los Angeles, reportedly following another driver too closely and flashing his lights. His representative played down the incident, branding it "an unfortunate misunderstanding," and now Longo, who was released after posting $15,000 bail, claims the case isn't as bad as it seems.

Returning to his Twitter account on Friday he writes, "Everything is fine. I Love you guys. Do not worry, stories always get exaggerated ..." However, the 25-year-old did not clear up the arrest details that he suggests had been reported incorrectly.
