'Duck Dynasty' stars swap jokes, greet fans
METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The stars of the hit reality TV series "Duck Dynasty" are getting used to being celebrities.
Once mistake as a homeless man with his shaggy beard, Phil Robertson says he now gets asked for autographs, and fans want to pose for pictures with him.
Robertson is the patriarch of the family of duck hunters-turned-millionaires. Their family business makes homemade duck callers and other bird hunting gear.
Robertson and the family signed autographs for more than 500 fans last Saturday. They cracked jokes about their celebrity status and autographed books, T-shirts, shoes and even some hunting rifles for fans in their home state of Louisiana.
The show is in its third season and draws some 8 million viewers a week.
