Dustin Hoffman had cancer, reports People.
In an exclusive statement to the mag, Hoffman's rep reveals that the Oscar-winning actor was diagnosed with cancer, but she did not say what type of cancer the 75-year-old had.
"It was detected early and he has been surgically cured," Hoffman's rep, Jodi Gottlieb, told People. "Dustin is feeling great and is in good health."
No other details were provide, aside from Hoffman undergoing further care via doctor-recommended preventative treatments to minimize a recurrence of the cancer.
He next stars in Jon Favreau's "Chef."
