When Kim Kardashian returned home to Los Angeles on Sunday without new husband Kanye West, one of her first orders of business (after greeting daughter North) was to quell rumblings that she had a lousy time on her honeymoon in Ireland.
"Had the best most relaxing romantic honeymoon in Ireland & Prague!" she tweeted. "Missed my baby girl so much! Excited to be home to squeeze her so tight!"
Yeezy reportedly arranged for the couple's post-nuptial stay at the five-star Castlemartyr Resort in Cork, a bucolic destination with which Kim was supposedly less than thrilled. During their stay last week, the newlyweds went mountain biking and took in two movies ("X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "The Other Woman") in a single day.
"Kim's idea of fun is getting dressed up and going to some great restaurants, and shopping till she drops in some of Europe's most posh boutiques, not roughing it in the country," a source tells the London Daily Mail.
Adds a source to Radar Online, "She complained during phone calls to [mom] Kris [Jenner] that she was bored and just wanted to go shopping, but the lack of high-end retailers really irked her. Kanye did plan a bike riding outing, but they brought two assistants with them."
Mama Jenner purportedly told Kim "to just relax and enjoy it, but she wasn't having it. Kanye had planned an outing in Dublin that included a private tour of Trinity College, but Kim persuaded him not to go. The idea of going to old museums, as Kim says, would have just bored her to death."
"Once they landed in Prague, and Kim had a chance to get decked out in her finest again, she seemed a lot more content," explains the spy.
