Five months after she was caught on camera in a daytime make-out session with a married man, Katharine McPhee may be trying to salvage her own wobbly union. She was photographed Monday with husband Nick Cokas as they took their dogs for a walk in Los Angeles.
McPhee, 29, reportedly split from Cokas, 48, in early 2013 after five years of marriage. They were able to keep the breakup quiet until she was snapped in October locking lips with Michael Morris, a director on her canceled series, "Smash," and the husband of "In Plain Sight" actress Mary McCormack.
At the time, a sympathy-trolling confidant of the "American Idol" also-ran sniveled to People, "This is a very hard time for her," adding, "Katharine cares about Michael. But she still cares about Nick, too."
Now, the estranged pair are apparently making a go at reconciliation.
"They're working on their marriage and spending a lot of time together," a source tells People. "They're trying to start again."
As a sign of her renewed commitment, McPhee bought Cokas a Rolex, says TMZ. Insiders say he's "leaning toward taking her back."
And what of Morris and McCormack, who have three young daughters together? She quickly ordered him out of their house after the scandal first broke (he supposedly tried and failed to buy the incriminating photos), but Us reports they've since reunited.
