Scarlett Johansson prefers to keep her love life out of the spotlight, but she might find it easier to fly under the radar if she wore fewer accessories. For the second time in five months, the actress has touched off talk that she's engaged to French journalist Romain Dauriac by sporting an eye-catching sparkler on her all-important finger.
On Wednesday, ScarJo, 28, flashed a sizable gold-and-ruby ring on her left hand as she made her way through LAX in a Yankees cap.
So, is the former Mrs. Ryan Reynolds ready to walk down the aisle again after less than a year of dating?
Not according to her rep, who assures People that she's "not engaged nor close to being engaged." As for the bauble, Scarlett recently received it as a gift (the giver remains unknown), and it's "simply a piece of jewelry," downplays a source.
"I never think about marriage. Is that weird?" Johansson asked in the February issue of Elle UK. "The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, 'Would I get married again?'"
Scarlett, who was first spied with Dauriac in November 2012, added that marriage is "really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I'm not having kids anytime soon. I'm in a nice relationship, I'm working a lot and, like I said, it's not important to me."
As for her current beau, she recently described him as "magical," explaining to Marie Claire, "He's Parisian. I think that describes a good part of someone's personality."
