Word of their apparently rekindled flame comes a little more than a month after the starlet stepped out with "Dancing With the Stars" hoofer Derek Hough. That budding romance wilted within weeks, ostensibly over geographic issues (he's based in Los Angeles; she shoots "The Vampire Diaries" in Atlanta).
"I didn't want to be dating one of my costars," Dobrev told Seventeen of Somerhalder in 2012. "But sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long -- which I did for a really, really long time."
The pair's alter egos, Elena and Damon, were recently crowned TV's Best Couple of All Time.
