Despite recent engagement speculation, Prince Harry apparently won't have Cressida Bonas on his arm at the christening of his 3-month-old nephew, Prince George, on Wednesday at St. James Palace in London.
People reports the ginger-topped royal's scrunchie-loving main squeeze didn't receive an invitation to the intimate family event, nor was she expecting one, since her presence would suggest a wedding announcement was imminent.
"If she went to this totally private service, it would be tantamount to saying they were about to be engaged," says a source.
Another insider scoffs at reports that claimed the blue-blooded blonde was considering whether to attend: "It was always so unlikely that she would be invited. To say she is shy and mulling it over is rubbish."
Those expected at the christening include the immediate family of George's parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate, including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and the Middletons, along with the friends they've selected as godparents.
