Grieving difficult for Jackson's kids, cousin says

The Associated Press, Thursday, June 27, 2013, 12:23pm (PDT)

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A cousin of Michael Jackson's children has told a jury that paparazzi attention has made it harder for them to grieve.

TJ Jackson, who serves as a co-guardian of his uncle's children, testified Thursday about the impact of the pop superstar's death on his two sons and daughter.

The 34-year-old is the second Jackson family member to testify in a case filed against AEG Live LLC that claims the concert promoter failed to properly investigate the doctor convicted of causing Michael Jackson's death.

AEG denies any wrongdoing.

TJ Jackson says the children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, are having a harder time grieving and recovering from their father's death due to constant attention by celebrity photographers.

He says he supports legislative efforts to stop photographers from shooting images of celebrity children.
