Heidi Montag took to her Twitter to offer up kind words about her plastic surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, following news that he had passed away.
Dr. Ryan performed 10 plastic surgery procedures on Heidi in one day, dramatically transforming the reality star's appearance, Us Magazine reported.
"I am devastated to hear the news of Dr. Frank Ryan's death. He was the most amazing person I have ever known," Heidi tweeted. "He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met. He was the most brilliant, talented surgeon who will ever exist. Dr. Frank Ryan changed the world."
The former MTV star also sent her condolences, writing: "My thoughts and prayers go out to his mother, family, friends, and anyone who was ever blessed enough to meet him. He is in a better place."
Dr. Ryan, 50, reportedly died in a car crash Monday when his vehicle ran off the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles and landed on the rocks, the California Highway Patrol told The Washington Post. One of the surgeon's last Twitter posts was made yesterday, in which he wrote: "After 25 years of driving by, I finally hiked to the top of the giant sand dune on the PCH west of Malibu. Much harder than it looks! Whew!"
