The calamity continued just before the outside ceremony -- when helicopters and photographed besieged the couple and their guests.
Finally, Duff and Comrie's pastor took matters into his own hands. "My pastor steps out from underneath the flowered arbor thing," Duff revealed, "And holds up a fake Uzi or a big machine gun -- and starts blasting at the paparazzi in front of all of our guests," she said, mimicking machine-gun fire sounds.
At last, the befuddled groom pulled back the minister. "My husband was like 'Buddy, what are you doing?!'"
