"You make it seem like it's so over -- it's not," the starlet, 22, told breakup-inquiring paparazzi on Tuesday while out and about in Los Angeles (she even stopped by that obligatory celebrity heartbreak spot, a tattoo parlor). "People take breaks ... it's OK ... it's normal ... [to] focus on themselves."
Her seeming state of denial comes after Ronson's sister and mother reportedly talked to police about getting a restraining order against her, a move that TMZ.com says left Lohan "devastated" and an "emotional wreck."
But instead of confiding her woes to a friend, Lindsay decided to bare her soul to the media.
She tells Us Weekly that being barred on Friday by the Ronson family from a Chateau Marmont shindig for Sam's twin sis, Charlotte, was "the worst night of my life."
"I am so alone without her," she sighs of her DJ ex. "Everyone's turned on me."
According to LiLo, that "everyone" includes Nicole Richie, who supposedly dissed her the night of the Chateau bash by saying "Uck" when she saw her.
"It's not fair. I'm a [bleeping] 22-year-old girl who's in love," she says. "I felt like I was in 'Mean Girls,' but worse: 'Mean Girls' was a movie."
Nevertheless, she laughs off whispers that she's a danger to herself, insisting, "I'm just really hurt! The whole situation is sick."
But perhaps not as sick as it could be. People magazine reports that Sam isn't looking to make Lohan legally stay away, with her lawyer stating, "Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order. There is no basis for one."
Explains a confidant, "Sam does not feel she's in any danger whatsoever. She thinks the whole thing is absurd."
And even though Ronson has reportedly changed the locks on her house, a source assures People that she and Lindsay "are totally communicating."
Unfortunately, Lohan may also be communicating her emotional state to a few too many chatty spies.
One mole alleges to RadarOnline that Lindsay was crying in her cups Monday night at Los Angeles hot spot h.wood.
The most disturbing detail of this purported sighting: Her mom Dina was at the club with her.
FoxNews, meanwhile, claims that Lohan attempted to crash a girls-only party at the Chateau Marmont after she was banned from the Ronson family's soiree.
"There was a knock at the door and Lindsay Lohan was there," maintains an eyewitness, who says the ladies quickly shut the door on the insistent star.
And in what can only be seen as yet another troublesome development, Lohan's media-courting father, Michael, who has spent months flinging insults at Ronson, is reaching out to his daughter, a decision he felt was best conveyed through "Extra."
"I'm here for Lindsay any time," says Michael, before baiting his ex-wife by adding, "I've cleared my schedule to go meet her in L.A. It's about time she had both parents with her, without Dina driving a wedge between us."
