How Kate Middleton and Prince William Celebrated Easter
Kate Middleton and Prince William spent their first Easter as a married couple with family.
On Easter Sunday, the Duchess, 30, and her husband, 29, attended a church service in Crathie, Scotland, a royal aide confirms to Us Weekly. They were driven to the small Crathie Kirk chapel by Prince Charles, 63, and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 64. The newlyweds spent the weekend with them at Balmoral Castle.
"It was a beautiful service," the royal aide says. "Afterwards, they were back at Balmoral for Sunday lunch."
William and Kate recently returned from a family ski trip in the French Alps, which was "a treat from Kate's parents," a source recently told Us. Kate's brother James, 24, and sister, Pippa, 28 (with beau George Percy, 27) also joined them on the snowy adventure.
William and Kate, who will celebrate their one-year wedding anniversary April 29, are traveling back to their home in Angelsey, Wales, Monday night, the royal aide confirms to Us; William will resume work at the RAF base Tuesday morning.
