To show his appreciation for their unfaltering support, Hugh Jackman is letting fans decide where he'll host the world premiere of his new movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Jackman -- who plays the famed antihero, Wolverine -- announced Wednesday that he wants the legions of X-Men fans to vote for their hometown to receive the star-studded event.
The X-Men star made the announcement himself, via a taped message uploaded on YouTube, in which the actor credits the film franchise's success to the moviegoers themselves.
The winning city, which will be announced April 20, will host the premiere -- complete with a red carpet, media coverage and the entire cast, including "a few other mutants from the film," Jackman says.
To put in a bid to host the premiere, fans can mark a trademark "X" next to their town at the X-Men premiere website.
The premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine will take place on Monday, April 27. It will be released nationwide on May 1.
