MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Even the mighty Wolverine is taking precautions when it comes to swine flu.
Film distributor 20th Century Fox says it has canceled actor Hugh Jackman's scheduled appearance in Mexico City to promote "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
The U.S. and several other countries have warned citizens to avoid nonessential travel to Mexico, where the number of deaths blamed on the new virus has surpassed 150. Meanwhile, movie theaters in Mexico City are closed to prevent the flu from spreading.
20th Century Fox representative Christina Inman says a Mexico premiere at the National Auditorium and media events Wednesday have been canceled until further notice.
