Is Willow Smith Remaking Her Dad's Song?
Coming off the success of her song "Whip My Hair," Willow Smith might be remaking the song that helped launch her father Will Smith's career.
The breakout music star told Yahoo! Music that she's considering doing a cover of the 1988 hit "Parents Just Don't Understand." She told the website of recording the track, "There's a possibility that I will. It's a really great song."
In addition to her dad, Willow has been working with another big name in music, Jay-Z. Willow admitted that she was nervous to meet the rap mogul but said he's open to her input. "When I have an idea and I express it to [Jay-Z], he doesn't say 'Oh, that's bad.' ... He tries to make it better," she told Yahoo! Music.
Willow also revealed that there is a Smith family collaboration in the works.
