James Franco shared a revealing picture of himself on Instagram on Thursday, but deleted it just hours later after he was mocked by critics.
The actor is a prolific user of the photosharing app and regularly posts self-taken images of himself in which he is shown topless or in bed.
On Thursday he shared an image of himself sweating and nude apart from a pair of underpants, which he was shown suggestively pulling down on the verge of completely exposing himself. To see the unedited photo, click here.

However, the photo, which was accompanied with the caption "JUMP ROPE", was removed from the star's Instagram.com account just hours later after online critics branded it "disturbing" and "attention-grabbing."
