James Franco may be hitting the books ... again.
The actor, 31, has been accepted to Yale University's English Ph.D program, the Yale Herald reports, adding that he will begin coursework in September.
Franco recently received his MFA at Columbia University -- where he was famously photographed sleeping through class in a lecture hall last year -- in New York City. He completed his undergraduate degree at UCLA and also went to film school in New York.
Franco's manager, Miles Levy, confirmed to the Yale Daily News that Franco was accepted to the Ivy League school but has not said if the "Spider-man" star will actually attend.
"[James] loves Yale, and it is more than likely his first choice," he said.
