Jennie Garth and Luke Perry aren't dating in real life, but they are working on rekindling their on-screen romance!
A source tells Us Weekly that former Beverly Hills, 90210 costars Garth, 40, and Perry, 45, are developing a sitcom together. "It'll play up their chemistry," the insider reveals.
A rep for Garth confirmed the collaboration to RumorFix on Thursday, saying, "They have been spending a lot of time together recently because the two are working on developing a TV sitcom together. It will be a multi-camera half hour show, currently we have producers and writers and are meeting with networks."
Rumors swirled earlier this week that the former on-screen loves had taken their longtime friendship to the next level after recently reuniting in a TV spot for Old Navy. But a source told Us on Thursday that is simply not true.
Garth split from her husband Peter Facinelli in March after 11 years of marriage. Since then, the actress has debuted a sexy, slimmed-down bod, and a friend of Garth told Us, "She's happier than ever!"
