Now that the identity of the woman incubating Jude Law's fourth spawn has been revealed (and the world has emitted a collective "of course" upon learning that Samantha Burke, the expectant lady in question, is a model and aspiring actress), whispers have begun in earnest about how they met -- and what she'll get.
The London Sun says the bun began baking in Burke's oven after a fleeting hookup with the actor late last year in New York, where he was filming "Sherlock Holmes" and she was doing some modeling.
Once Burke, 24, learned she was on the stork's delivery route, she tried to call the actor, 36, only to discover that his cell phone number was disconnected, so she took a less direct route to break the news of the impending bundle of joy, according to RadarOnline.com.

"She had to go through his PR person to inform him she was pregnant with his child, a baby girl she's already named Sophia," relays a source. "I don't think he believed her at first. But she passed a DNA test so he had no choice but to recognize the fact that he was the dad."
Law's rep has stated that he "intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life," but just how supportive remains to be seen.
"He wants to play an active part in his child's upbringing," a mole tells the London Daily Mirror, "and be supportive of both his little girl and Samantha. Jude is delighted he's going to be a father again and hopes to play as much of a part in bringing her up as he has with his other children."
Law, who is dad to Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6, with ex-wife Sadie Frost, is also expected to pony up monetary assistance, which the Sun suspects will translate to big bucks.
"Jude is in for a seriously tough time. He's accepted he's the father and promised to do everything he can as a father," a snitch tells the tab. "There is a high-powered lawyer in the girl's family getting involved and Jude is terrified he will be cleaned out. ... The girl wants a large maintenance payment and financial costs, including a percentage of Jude's future earnings, agreed in writing."
Burke is reportedly due in October, not long after Law debuts his acclaimed performance in "Hamlet" on Broadway.
