TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- A Tampa jury has resumed its deliberations in the case of a Grammy-winning reggae singer who is on trial for cocaine conspiracy charges.

Tuesday was the second day of deliberations in the trial of Buju Banton.

Banton was charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine; attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine; possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense; and using the wires to facilitate a drug trafficking offense.

This was Banton's second trial; a jury deadlocked in his first trial last year.
