Katherine Jenkins suffered a scary slip during her final Dancing With the Stars number Monday night.

The classically trained singer, 31, attempted a back bend during her and partner Mark Ballas' final routine of the night, but stumbled in the process, falling to the ground.

Clearly humiliated--and in pain--Jenkins struggled to fight back tears as her partner embraced her. "I got you, I got you," he said, trying to comfort the visibly shaken contestant.

All three judges--Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli--expressed concern for Jenkins, and applauded her for her dedication. (Goodman even tried out a new nickname on the singer: "Katherine the Great," a nod to the strength she displayed.)

Still, her misstep was reflected in her and Ballas' final score; the pair earned 9s across the board from the judges, earning their dance a 27/30--and putting them in last place for the night.

Speaking to host Brooke Burke Charvet, Jenkins later admitted she "felt her back go as I went back," and apologized again to her partner, whom she says she let down.

After the show, pro Ballas opened up to Us Weekly about how Jenkins is faring.

"She's having a doctor check her out here now, but she's going to be fine," he assured Us. "Usually when you do something bad you aren't usually able to walk. But she got up pretty quick, she was out there dusting it off . . . She's going to be okay."

Added Ballas, "She's one of the best partners I've ever had on the show. . . I think she's one of the best dancers left on the show and she deserves a stab at the final."
