Katy Perry's teenage dream? To be the host of a game show! Although it was actually Ellen DeGeneres' special birthday episode, the host granted Perry's quirky wish on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, Jan. 25.
"Happy Birthday!" Perry, 28, told DeGeneres, who celebrates her 55th birthday on Jan. 26, emerging onto the stage dressed as a male game show host.
"I asked for the Anne Hathaway, obviously," the singer joked of her short male wig, accessorized with a mustache and pink plaid suit.
"I am actually a second cousin to Bob Barker," she joked.
The "Part of Me" singer then kicked off hosting a game by calling two lucky audience members down to join her on stage. "Don't worry, ladies. You won't be winning a kitchenette set," she said. Instead, the winner received a trip to Australia.
Perry had another dream come true earlier in the week when she attended President Barack Obama's Inauguration ceremony on Jan. 21. The pop superstar scored premium seats for the event with boyfriend John Mayer, and then attended a star-studded VIP after party.
"Just left the White House. All other parties from here on out will be judged unless they take place at the White House," she tweeted at 2 a.m. the following day. "Had an incredible Inaugural experience."
