The massive vehicle, which is emblazoned with the release date of her new record "Prism," was reportedly stationary in a parking lot when a car rammed into the front, causing substantial damage to the cab.
Perry's driver was not in the truck at the time of the accident, and police have launched an investigation into allegations the other motorist was driving drunk, according to TMZ.com.
The star has not been traveling in the truck, but she has been urging all her fans to look out for it as it tours the U.S., promising them mentions on her Twitter page when they report their sighting.
She told followers about the crash on Friday, but promised the truck will be repaired and back on the road as soon as possible, writing, "The Prism semi (truck) is bumped & bruised but she is a champion! She will return."
