She's pregnant y'all -- and is certain it's a baby girl! Kelly Clarkson has already made the late night TV rounds gushing about her desire for a baby, and now that her dream has come true, the "Tie It Up" singer says she is hoping for a daughter. Before announcing her pregnancy on Tuesday, Nov. 19, the rocker told Parade magazine that she sees pink in her near future.
"My eggs aren't getting any younger so we've already started trying," the 31-year-old told the mag in this weekend's issue. "I'm totally gonna have a girl. I'm manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you're gonna be like, 'That chick knew it!'"
She added: "I didn't really grow up in a family environment. So I didn't understand it or know if I could do that properly," she said of becoming a mother. (Clarkson's parents divorced when she was six years old.)
Just last night, the American Idol alum revealed her happy news via Twitter. "I'm pregnant!!!" she wrote. "Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever."
The couple married in an intimate Tennessee ceremony at Blackberry Farms on Oct. 20. Blackstock, who is the stepson of country singer Reba McEntire, already has two children -- daughter Savannah, 12, and son Seth, 6, from a previous marriage. "[He] is the sexiest thing ever," she gushed. "He's a great dad. It's such a turn-on!"
