Hip-hop super-couple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are now parents.

Keys, who was reportedly due in November, went into labor on Thursday and gave birth to a little boy, Egypt Dauode Dean, at New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital.

Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, tweeted his happiness shortly after the birth with a post on his Twitter page. The thrilled father wrote, "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwwww."
Close pal Mary J. Blige was among the first stars to send her best wishes.

Posting on her Twitter page Friday, she writes, "I'm So excited 2 Congratulate my brother @therealswizzz and @Aliciakeys on there New, baby, boy!!!!!!!"
The child is Keys' first baby, while Beatz is already a father to three children from previous relationships.
The baby's name will be no big surprise to Keys fans, since she fell in love with all things Egypt during a hiatus there in 2007. She claimed the country inspired her to return and record the hit album "The Element of Freedom."
Keys announced the news of her pregnancy and engagement in May and wed producer Beatz in Corsica, France, in July.
