A lot of couples might feel like they keep having the same fights over and over again, but in Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's case, it's actually true. It turns out that the act of forgiving and forgetting isn't so easy when every argument you have is broadcast on television for all to see, sometimes months later.
"That, I will say, is one of the real downsides of the whole television thing," Disick, 29, tells Ryan Seacrest during an interview for the special Ryan Seacrest With the Kardashians: An E! News Presentation. (The no-holds-barred sit-down airs Sunday, April 21, at 9 p.m.)
"Just when I think we've worked through something, and we're finally moving forward, a rerun will be on, and I'll be upstairs, and she'll call me," he continues. "Like, 'Hey, so I kinda forgot to say I hated you for this one other thing.' And I'm like, 'What? I have to relive this again?'"
The reality TV couple -- together since 2006 and parents to son Mason, 3, and daughter Penelope, 9 months -- have certainly had their share of problems. But the rough spots seem to have made them stronger in the long run.
"I would say we're decently happy," Disick tells Seacrest of his relationship with Kardashian, 34. But don't expect wedding bells anytime soon.
"I think if it's not broke, don't fix it. You know what I mean?" he says. "I feel like I used to want to get married more than she did. And then, being that she was always so not interested, I've decided not to be."
