For years, Liam Hemsworth was kind of lost and not living in the moment. Then, he started hanging around Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harrelson and his world changed.

"Being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now," he told the Associated Press. "I'm much happier."

The "Hunger Games" actor underwent a major lifestyle change last year: He called off his engagement with pop star Miley Cyrus, purchased a $6.8 million home in Malibu, Calif., and traveled the world for multiple movie roles.

"I'm more comfortable in my own skin than I've ever been," he said. "For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment."

Aside from J.Law, Liam also said he found a kinship with his "Hunger Games" co-star Woody Harrelson, with whom he spent a lot of time in Europe while filming the hugely successful franchise.

Some things, however, haven't changed for him. The ruggedly good-looking actor has continued to get physical with activities, like boxing and surfing. He's also remained close with his family, which includes brother, Chris Hemsworth.

"We come from a very close family," Liam told Us Weekly of his brothers and fellow actors Chris and Luke. "We all understand how lucky we are."
