Victoria's Secret models are Just Like Us! As bikini season approaches, model Behati Prinsloo admits to Us Weekly that she at first felt "awkward" when stripping down to a teeny bikini for VS' super-sexy photo shoots. "In the beginning, [it was like], 'Hello, I'm in my underwear just standing here all day!'" recalled Prinsloo when chatting with Us at a recent event celebrating Victoria's Secret's What Is Sexy list. As the model -- who split from Adam Levine earlier this year -- gained confidence, she found posing in skimpy suits like "second nature."
Prinsloo's fellow VS angel, Lily Aldridge, agrees that confidence is key, but stresses the importance of dressing for your body type. "I like the string-kini on me, I think it looks the best. Boyshorts don't look so great on me," admits the mom of 11-month-old daughter Dixie, with husband Caleb Followill. "Also having a great tan, a little glow, really helps!"
Aldridge -- who eats a clean diet rich with fish and veggies -- will likely bring her workouts outdoors as the summer progresses.
"Working out outside is good for the body and soul," Aldridge, who also works with trainer Justin Gelband, tells Self magazine. "Nothing makes me feel more blessed than being outside on a beautiful day." One of her preferred workouts? Yoga. "I've always loved yoga, but I got really into it while I was pregnant. It's a great way to stay flexible -- and a great way to meditate," she tells Self. "I could fall asleep in [the Child's Pose] position."
