Move over Emma Watson -- Lily Collins is the latest beauty to be tapped as Lancôme's global ambassador.
Lily will be appearing in ads promoting the spring 2014 cosmetics -- Lancôme's French Ballerine collection -- starting in January, and she presumably feels a personal tie to the elegant theme. Her grandmother, Jane Hale, was a ballerina and a dance director. The picture above is an upcoming glimpse of the campaign.
"It's an absolute honor and privilege to have been chosen to represent the Maison Lancôme," the 24-year-old Mortal Instruments actress said in a statement. "I have always admired the brand's unique and distinctive appreciation for inner beauty and grace, elegance and utter radiance. I feel incredibly lucky to be included among the most inspirational women ambassadresses for one of the most prestigious brands in the world. It's truly a dream come true."
And Lancôme is clearly a fan of Lilly's as well, whose signature beauty trademark -- her thick eyebrows -- have gotten her plenty of attention.
"With her charm, gracefulness, modernity and lively wit, Lily Collins is the perfect embodiment of femininity according to Lancôme," Françoise Lehmann, general manager of Lancôme International, said.
Besides Watson, other A-list actresses that have been Lancôme ambassadresses include Kate Winslet and Lily's Mirror, Mirror co-star Julia Roberts.
