Lindsay Lohan has again skirted jail time…for now.
During a status update on her still-lacking community service hours, which stems from her 2012 reckless driving case, it was revealed that Lindsay has only completed about 10 community service hours of the 125 required. 10!
Her reason for such a low number: The London-based community service facility has moved and it requires an hour and a half car ride each way. And, Lilo has to hire a car service to take her to and from the facility.
It was believed that the prosecutor was going to ask the judge to issue a warrant for Lindsay's feeble community service hours, but that didn't happen.
If you'll recall, the hours have been a sticking point for Lindsay for some time. Two months ago, she said she had finished the hours. A judge, though, threw out a chunk of hours after Lindsay had claimed that performing in a play and fan meet-and-greets were community service.
During the hearing on May 7, the oft-troubled actress' lawyer said that Lilo is likely to move back to the United States and perform the hours in New York.
According to TMZ, the judge said, "If Lindsay does not get this done by May 28th there will be consequences."
Sounds like he means business this time.
