Lindsay Lohan allegedly stole trinkets from a Los Angeles jewelry store, causing police to procure a search warrant for her home.
According to the LAPD, detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department's Pacific Area obtained a search warrant on February 1 for the actress' Venice residence, to search for the necklace. But prior to service of the warrant, the necklace was returned to Pacific Detectives.
The necklace in question is worth $2,500 and the case is currently under investigation.
Lohan was caught in the middle of a similar case in 2009 when 250,000 pounds worth of jewelry went missing after an ELLE UK photo shoot featuring the actress. In January, the embattled star was released from the Betty Ford Center after a three month rehab stint there.
