Lindsay Lohan can breathe easy!
No charges will be filed against the 26-year-old actress after she was allegedly questioned by police in connection with a burglary, TMZ reports.
The D.A. rejected the case against Lohan on Tuesday due to insufficient evidence. Lohan had been implicated in the theft of more than $100,000 worth of jewelry from a Los Angeles home where she had stayed. According to TMZ, the D.A. said the home's owner did not identify Lohan as a suspect.
"Lindsay is glad this matter has been cleared up so she can focus on her upcoming projects," her rep tells Us Weekly. "It is unfortunate that many media outlets were quick to point fingers and jump to conclusions without having all the facts."
Lohan is still on probation (through May 2014) for her 2011 theft of a $2,500 necklace.
