Actor and Texas boy Matthew McConaughey was having a lot of fun at the 43rd Annual American Country Music (ACM) Awards, telling the audience that last year's award show festivities led to him and partner Camila Alves conceiving their second child.
He told the crowd prior to presenting the Top Male Vocalist of the Year award, "After the show last year ... my lady and I, Camila, we even went back to the hotel and conceived a little lady, Vida Alves McConaughey. That's a true story."
The laughs continued with the actor promising that they would not be making another baby this year. "Two is enough," he told the ACM audience. "We're flush for a while."
Last year, an overwhelmed Carrie Underwood referenced McConaughey in her "Entertainer of the Year" acceptance speech, joking that she wanted to see the actor's boots. McConaughey didn't forget this and asked Underwood to come on stage and get his boots.
The actor presented Brad Paisley with the Top Male Vocalist of the Year award.
