Miami director's hustle hooks Lil Wayne, Pitbull
MIAMI (AP) -- Miami's David Rousseau (ROO-soh) is becoming one of the hottest music video directors in the country.
He grew up in Little Havana in Miami and would listen to the songs coming from the nearby Orange Bowl.
It was the 1980s and all the biggest acts played there: Pink Floyd, Genesis, Bruce Springsteen and Michael Jackson. It made him envision what the music would look like.
He says that's helped him create his videos for some of music's biggest acts: Lil Wayne, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and T-Pain. He is known for bright colors and graphics that complement the high-energy music he's showcasing.
