Michael Douglas is playing down reports suggesting he and his estranged wife Catherine Zeta-Jones have reconciled, insisting he has not yet returned to the family home in Connecticut.

The two stars split this summer, but Douglas has made it clear on several occasions they're not heading for a divorce - just taking a break from each other.
Both have been spotted wearing their wedding rings in recent weeks and now the separation talk has turned to hope for a reconciliation following reports the estranged couple was spotted together recently in Greenwich, Conn.

But Douglas insists the news isn't that good yet. He tells news show "Extra," "I haven't been home yet... I've been in New Mexico making a picture called 'The Reach' for the last five weeks... So, I look forward to getting home, but that wasn't me... Must've been a look alike.";
