Michelle Williams Shows Off Pin Thin Legs at Independent Spirit Awards
Michelle Williams is usually known for her modest red carpet style, but the My Week With Marilyn star sexed things up at the 27th Annual Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, Calif. Saturday.
Wearing a suit from Louis Vuitton's pre-fall 2012 collection, the blonde actress, 31, showed off her pin-thin legs in short shorts. She accessorized with an Olympia Le-Tan "Catcher in the Rye" embroidered clutch.
Williams nabbed the best female lead award for her critically acclaimed portrayal of blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe. "My friend said, 'You're like the Susan Lucci of the Independent Spirit Awards," Williams joked to reporters backstage.
Another actress who turned heads on the red was rising star Shailene Woodley, who wore a Christopher Kane gold and pink embellished floral top, skinny black pants and gold capped Christian Louboutin "Duvette" pumps. Woodley, 20, won for her supporting role in The Descendants.
"Everyone who has worked on this movie was incredibly positive and happy and had such gentle, kind and grateful souls," Woodley told reporters after her big win. "Being on this film as an 18-year-old and being a part of that right as I was about to start life on my own was kind of the catalyst for me coming into my own."
Other stars who sizzled on the red carpet included Jessica Chastain (in Armani Prive), Zoe Salana (in Balmain), Rashida Jones (in Oscar de la Renta), Anna Kendrick (in McQ by Alexander McQueen), Elizabeth Olsen (in Antonio Berardi), Kirsten Dunst (in Dolce & Gabbana) and Lucy Liu (in Roberto Cavalli).
