LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are getting another chance to settle their divorce case, and this time a judge wants the NBA player to attend.
Superior Court Judge Hank Goldberg set a mandatory settlement conference for April 19 to try to resolve the couple's long-running divorce.
Humphries, who wants an annulment, did not attend a settlement conference Friday. The judge wants the Brooklyn Nets power forward to explain his absence at the April 19 hearing.
Kardashian attended the hearing under heavy security. She is asking a judge to end the marriage through a traditional divorce.
She filed for divorce in October 2011 after 72 days of marriage.
