Name: Carrie Keagan
Occupation: TV personality; actress
Top Threads: "Classy and sassy with a touch of sexy edginess" is how the host of VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live, 32, describes her signature style. "I like to be comfortable and keep a fashionable style, too," Keagan tells Us Weekly, explaining that she prefers "classic styles and tailored shapes." Her favorite designers include Alexander McQueen, Catherine Malandrino, Rag and Bone, Versace and Dior.
Denim Doyenne: "I live in my high-waisted J Brand jeans," says the Amherst, New York native, who has had cameos in Superbad and The Hangover. "High-waisted jeans hide any stomach bloat and make me feel skinny even on my least skinny days. In my opinion all jeans should be high-waisted!" Keagan prefers to pair her jeans with a good T-shirt ("It can be dressed up with a blazer or leather jacket or be worn just by itself with simple jewelry") and heels ("I live for a good pair by Giuseppe Zanotti"). Of course sticking to stilettos in the city has its hazards. "Since being in New York City, I have had to make BFF's with the shoe cobbler after walking around the Meatpacking District's cobblestone streets!"
Hello, Good Buy: "I love to shop but I don't love trying things on," says the 5-foot-5 star, who is also anchor, writer and producer for NO GOOD TV. "My figure doesn't allow for me NOT to try everything on, so when I'm in the mood to shop, I mean business!" For "bargains that fit and work well" in her wardrobe, Keagan swings by Zara, H&M and Forever 21. She also hits up Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's and Shareen Vintage, and she adores All Saints "for their comfortable edginess."
Stylish Stars: "I love Charlize Theron's comfortable elegance," Keagan says of her fashion icons. "And Kate Moss has a sexy, casual, chic thing; I love how she mixes high and low-end fashion effortlessly. Grace Potter has a modern '70s rocker edge that I dream of."
Quote: "Every part of New York City has its own unique style. I can be dressed to kill or dressed for a thrill, but I always try to find ways to be comfortable since there is so much walking, a lot of long days, multiple cab rides, and endless subways."
